This research was for a report to the City of San Antonio. The idea was to consider what the jobs markets might look like for women or races/ethnicities. This is not a report on jobs by gender and race/ethnicity. This work still needs to be done. Nevertheless, by scrolling through the years, you’ll get a sense of where the city is headed. Overall, our population growth would seem to be slowing. Yes, the news reports growth through migrations across the country but the bigger picture is that San Antonio is aging in terms of median age and this has many implications.
